The reason why this qualification is accepted by Universities, employers and other courses is because each exam has been regulated by Ofqual so the UK government has approved this qualification.
The functional skills level 2 online English exam, has three exams. Two are back to back exams which are writing and reading. The last exam is on a different day which is speaking, listening and communicating. To receive the functional skills English level 2 qualification, you need to pass all three exams. If you didn’t pass one or more of the exams, you can resit the exam/s that you didn’t pass to receive the qualification.
