If you did not achieve a GCSE Pass/Grade C/ Level 4 for whatever reason, the Functional Skills qualifications are for you! The qualifications are equivalent to a GCSE passing grade, and they are recognised by many employers, apprenticeships, and universities. In fact, if you did not receive a pass at GCSE, an equivalent qualification may be required when applying to an organisation. It is Ofqual approved and universally accepted across the UK. You can find many Functional Skills providers; however, we recommend sitting your exam with Pass Functional Skills. On top of providing easy-to-use, high-quality exams, you can access their in-depth revision materials.
Achieving your Functional Skills qualifications is not easy, but we have specialist tutors to assist you on your journey! Here at Birmingham Tutors, we have expert tutors in Maths and English; they can help you work through revision materials, advise you on exam preparation, give you revision tips and much more! Due to the current climate, the majority of Functional Skills services are currently online. Subsequently, you can prepare for your exam and revise online; this allows you to work at your own pace and ensures you are in a comfortable environment. Additionally, the exam will be online but, it will need to be taken under exam conditions just like an in-person exam would.
You can access several learning resources online; however, please refrain from using any material from before 2019. The curriculum was reformed, which means that anything earlier than 2019 will not be as useful to you. If you need any additional support regarding revision materials and tutoring sessions, you can contact Birmingham Tutors; we are happy to help! Furthermore, if you have any other questions about the Functional Skills qualifications, you can get in touch with us.
