Functional Skills Level 2 is a GCSE alternative qualification that learners take if they have not previously obtained a GCSE grade C or level 4. This is widely accepted by universities, apprenticeships and colleges throughout the country. The qualification is Ofqual approved which is the highest form of regulation in the country.
