Certain learners may be asked to study entry level 3 maths before they move onto the Functional Skills exam. These papers can be the most valuable revision material as they allow you to understand the exam format. These papers also are accompanied by their relevant mark scheme allowing learners to see what they need to get to the next level.
Once the online entry level 3 maths resources have been used, then we advise the learner to move onto the entry level past papers. These give you an accurate representation of what the actual exams are like and again the mark schemes can be used to see where each mark is awarded. Once a learner is feeling confident with the past papers and is achieving the pass mark, then it is sensible to look at booking the entry level 3 exam. After entry level, is Functional Skills. Functional skills level 1 is advised to be the next step after the entry levels but learners can move directly to level 2.
